Artist Tegan Rose

           Bio

• Tegan Rose Latour is a 9-year-old English/German artist, based in Chelmsford.
• Tegan has been interested in art since the age of 3.

• Her work mimics life and nature through the eyes of a child.
• Her artwork is a true reflection of the beauty she sees in her world and that others sometimes forget to see in theirs. Seeing life through the eyes of a child can be truly liberating.
• Tegan especially loves creating floral work, trees and anything that’s nature-inspired. Her work leans towards impressionism.
• Her images come from both memory and imagination, smells, holidays and exciting things to come. Her paintings are full of colour and optimism, untainted by the cynicism of life. 
• Her hope is to transport the viewer into the heart of the place and subject she creates.
• Her paintbrush really is just a tool for making people happy or to stop and think!
• Her preferred mediums are acrylics and oils, but that doesn’t stop her from experimenting with different mixed media. Much of her floral work is created using palette knives as the main tool.
